Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Navrit AI Private Limited (“Navrit”) collects, uses and protects personal data when an automobile dealership (“Dealer”) uses Navrit to engage its customers over WhatsApp. Navrit processes customer data on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the Dealer, who is the data controller; Navrit is the data processor.

1. Data we process

Customer contact data the Dealer provides: name, phone number, vehicle interest, enquiry date, language preference.

WhatsApp message content exchanged between the Dealer’s WhatsApp Business number and its customers.

• Any additional information the Dealer chooses to provide for a specific programme (for example, finance-related details), processed only for that purpose and under applicable law.

2. How we use it

Solely to deliver the service the Dealer engages us for. We do not sell personal (PII) data. We do use de-identified signals and aggregate patterns — never raw customer PII — to operate, improve and market the Navrit product.

3. What you get back — and what is Navrit’s IP

A Dealer may request a copy or deletion of its own raw contact data and conversation logs. The derived signals, scores and learned patterns Navrit generates are an intrinsic part of the Navrit product and remain Navrit’s intellectual property. They are retained in de-identified form and are not returned or deleted as part of a data request.

4. WhatsApp & Meta

Messages are delivered via the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to Meta’s and WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policies.

5. Sub-processors

AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity) — drafting and scoring of message text under their enterprise API terms.

Meta / WhatsApp — message delivery.

Supabase — encrypted database hosting.

Vercel — application hosting.

6. Retention & deletion

We retain personal data in line with applicable statutory guidelines and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, for as long as needed for the engagement and any legal obligation, then delete or anonymise it. Verified deletion requests are actioned in accordance with the law.

7. Opt-out

Any customer can reply STOP on WhatsApp to opt out permanently — we honour it immediately. We never message between 21:00 and 09:00 IST (TRAI).

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted with row-level security, and we follow the principle of least privilege.
